RISEN

Before Spock's cross he'd stood, and watched him die.

He'd sealed him tightly in his tomb. He'd said goodbye.

And now, returning, heard the news, amazed.

An empty tube, a cast-off robe. A body, raised

From death. A miracle? He could not say.

He only knew that for the first time since

That awful day, he felt rejuvenated. Whole.

And it was Easter in his soul.
