Idle Hands

One night as they made love, Jim said, "You have beautiful hands."

He wasn't sure Spock understood. Spock was not sure either.

The next day, Spock sent Jim a message.

"I have given some thought to your statement regarding my hands. It is true that they are aesthetically pleasing, by the standards of both our cultures. They are also almost perfectly suited to the work in which I engage, both publicly and privately. And, judging by your reactions, they please you greatly, when applied to you mentally and/or physically. I have come to the preliminary conclusion that your statement is logical. My hands can be considered beautiful. As can the work in which they engage. Including pleasuring your body and your mind. As well as maintaining our love. Thank you for bringing this concept to my attention. I look forward to exploring it further, at the earliest possible opportunity. For now, t'hy'la, I look forward to joining you for dinner."

That night, Spock made it 1.25 meters before he was grabbed.

"Those hands. On me. Right now."

It was highly illogical...to argue.

Dinner would be greatly needed, but very cold.

The time for further exploration was at hand.
