Present Giving

A Kirk/Spock drabble with a Christmas theme

Spock wondered what to give the man who had everything for Christmas.

“Besides a broad-spectrum antibiotic?” McCoy quipped, but he grew serious at the Vulcan’s expression.

“Well, Spock, I think the best present is something you’d like to get yourself.”

Spock thought about it and finally chose the perfect gift. He sent a message to the Captain and waited.

When Kirk entered Spock’s quarters and saw the Vulcan reclining on his bed against the red velvet backdrop, green skin flushed, one eyebrow raised in invitation, he forgot to breathe, realising that all his Christmases had come at once.
