It is I, T'Pring. I speak freely; our elders are not listening.

You left, and because you are hybrid, I had reason to hope your pon farr would never come. You were not there, and my life entwined with another's.

Then, you Burned, and threatened the child my beloved and I had created. I feared the stranger that would take me from my love. Your possessive hormones would have killed my embryo, had we coupled.

How could I know you yearned to escape the marriage yourself? You shut me off to hide your new love, and thereby nearly doomed him.
