With a wink and a nod to those who've come before me, I bring you:
Amok Time in Iambic Tetrameter
The time of fire in blood and heart
Did nearly tear poor Spock apart,
But once he fought and hurt his Jim,
He knew that was the man for him.
(The last line is a little iffy in terms of syllable stress, I know.)
Inspired by all those old English textbooks I still have.
