Farfalla and I were on YM talking about Gwen's new "Colonial" pic...and the rest is literary history. First, I did a filk of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". Which works eerily well, for TOS/Trek and K/S. Then we tweaked it further, for even more Spirky goodness. And I added an original love scene at the end, of course. Enjoy!!! (Why hasn't this been done more? Challenge, anyone??)Warning: Do I really need to say "AU"?!
Disclaimer: THE CHARACTERS AND EVENTS IN THIS MOTION PICTURE ARE FICTIONAL AND HAVE NO RELATION TO ANY REAL PERSONS, LIVING OR DEAD. And yet, somehow, they still belong to Paramount & Viacom. But Dickens is in the public domain.

Note: Includes K/S filks of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Sir Roger de Coverley". And (funny) film end credits appear at the very end, below the byline. Thanks to the folks at TOS-Up, especially for their help with the prisons/workhouses bit.
Beta and Great Good Helper: Farfalla
Preface
I have endeavoured in this Ghostly little book, to raise the Ghost of an Idea, which shall not put my readers out of humour with themselves, with each other, with the season, or with me. May it haunt their houses pleasantly, and no one wish to lay it.
